Prairie Gold Homes offer over 1000 square feet of living space in two and three-bedroom models that are built to be sited over a crawlspace or basement on your lot. An attached carport or garage may be added to the structure by your contractor.

Prairie Gold Homes are designed to save you time and money, offering comfort, convenience, high energy-efficiency and low maintenance. 

Our homes feature:

  • Pre-finished insulated fiberglass exterior door and energy-efficient vinyl patio door
  • High R-factor insulation (including R-50 blown-type attic insulation)

Optional universal design features include:

  • Main floor utility/laundry closet (in crawlspace version)

Sample Plans and Elevations


The following drawings represent some of our most popular home styles. For more combinations, contact our Housing Facilitator.


Plans - We offer 2 and 3 bedroom models for positioning over a basement (note stairway on some plans) or a crawlspace (note utility closet/laundry space). Most of our homes are placed with the "broadside" facing the street, but we also offer the option of a main entry and covered porch on the end of the structure that we call "end-wise".



Elevations - We present three of our options here. The broadside examples illustrate the 2 & 3 Bedroom models and show two examples of the roof projection over the front door. We have also included elevation drawings for an end-wise model.
